Criminal psychology is a great career that grows. This field began to be known in 1950 and works very well today. What is awesome with this work is that the routine does not exist. I will describe to you few days as a criminal psychologist.

Criminal psychology is most associated with the work of profiling. The profile is created by looking at the past of the criminal, the crime he committed and with little bit of deduction. People often think that profilers always work about serial killers but they also work on other criminal who repeats their crimes like rapist, robbers or other criminals.

During his work, the profiler analyzes some files to see if there are links between other cases. He can also try to think like the criminal to understand why he did the crime. They spend several days to build the profile and once it is complete they will give their findings to the police.

The criminal psychologists  can be called to court as an experts witness. After learning the case  and met the accused, they can give their personal verdict. They can also be called to reject the testimony of another expert witness.

There is also the possibility of working with criminals. Usually, lawyers asked the psychologists to provide assistance to people in trial. They also called to help psychologically criminals in prison or in mental health facilities. They may  work on psychotherapy or regular therapy.

During most of the day, there are criminal psychologist working as a therapist. They costumer meetings, analyzes paperwork, working for law enforcement and provide services where they are needed. Life work of a criminal psychologist is very variant.
