3 Reasons to Study Youth and Adult Correctional Intervention
Youth and adult correctional intervention
There are many professions that exist but I will explain to you why it can be a good choice to choose youth and adult correctional intervention. In Quebec after high school you have to go in a Cegep before going to the University. To study in this field of study you have to do a Technic of three years in a Cegep. In this article I will explain to you three good reasons to choose this program.
1.Future jobs
The first reason is the jobs that you can get after your studies. If you want to work with teenagers it is possible to work in a school, in a youth center, in a foster home for young offender or in youth community organizations. If you prefer to work with adult you can have a job in a detention center, in rehabilitation center or in rehab center, in shelter for woman, in community organization to work with victims or in organizations for homeless. It is amazing to see the possibilities that are available after your studies in that Technic.2. Make a difference
Second, what I find beautiful is the big move that you can do in that job. Is not just about get up in the morning go work and come back to home. Every jobs are important but with that Technic you help people who took the wrong way and make a difference in them life. You try to understand them and you work together. This kind of people had a big past behind them and you are one of the people who can change their future.3. University
Thirdly, one of the advantages is that you have two options after you did the Technic : you can directly begin to work or you can go to the university. Is good because you have many choices of studies like social service, addiction, communication in human relationship, school and social adaptation, social work, psycho education, criminology and many others. The second advantage is that university may seem easier because you will have gained a lot of experience with the Technic.
Conclusion
Finally, it is clear that youth and adult correctional intervention is a good choice because the jobs available are really interesting, you can make a big difference in someone's life and this can bring you a great future to the university. Choose a field of study can be hard but this Technic really has something special and awesome.
